Biography and Introduction
Alexandra’s practice centers on the day-to-day management and strategic execution of complex litigation matters, with a focus on precision, efficiency, and achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. Her work spans construction litigation, commercial disputes, contract claims, insurance defense and coverage, premises liability, Insurance Law §5102 threshold litigation, and tort liability.
Alexandra represents a full range of public and private sector clients, including municipalities, governmental agencies, public transportation authorities, insurers, owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Her comprehensive experience across the industry provides her with a unique 360-degree perspective—allowing her to anticipate challenges, assess risk, and craft proactive, detail-driven strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Alexandra’s practice includes handling matters involving breach of contract, terminations for convenience and cause, change order issues, contract interpretation, notice issues, delay and liquidated damages claims, construction defect disputes, mechanic’s and public improvement liens, and payment bond and Miller Act claims. Alexandra also regularly defends Labor Law §§200, 240, and 241 actions, premises liability claims, and insurance coverage disputes, and advises on indemnification, risk transfer, prevailing wage, and bid protest issues.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and hands-on case management, Alexandra guides each matter from initial evaluation through resolution. She manages discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation, and represents clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations. Her disciplined and strategic approach ensures that every stage of litigation is executed with precision, consistency, and focus on client success.
Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She served as Managing Editor of the New York Real Property Law Journal and as Director of Outreach for the Intellectual Property Law Society. During law school, Alexandra gained valuable experience as an intern with Ladder Capital Corp, an internally managed M-REIT, and through the Tenants’ Rights Advocacy Clinic in partnership with the Legal Aid Society. She also served as a Summer Associate with Chan Vitanza (formerly Wilson & Chan) in 2023.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from SUNY Binghamton, where she was Treasurer of the Mock Trial Team, a student hearing board member with the Office of Student Conduct, and Treasurer of Sigma Delta Pi National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.
