Biography and Introduction
Julian’s practice focuses on the meticulous day-to-day management and strategic handling of complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on precision, efficiency, and achieving successful outcomes for his clients. He represents a broad range of public and private sector clients, including municipalities, governmental agencies, public transportation authorities, insurers, owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors, across disputes involving construction law, contract claims, insurance defense and coverage, premises liability defense litigation, Insurance Law §5102 threshold litigation, and general tort liability defense litigation.
Julian is deeply involved in every stage of litigation, overseeing the practical management of each file from initial case evaluation and strategy development to 50-h hearings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, subpoenas, and trial preparation. He manages court appearances, expert retention and disclosures, mediations, and arbitration, ensuring that each matter is handled with meticulous attention to detail. Known for his methodical, results-driven approach, Julian tailors litigation strategies to meet his clients’ objectives while maintaining a focus on risk management, efficiency, and achieving favorable outcomes. His experience includes New York Labor Law §§200, 240, and 241 matters, insurance coverage disputes, contractual indemnification, Insurance Law §5102 defense litigation, and all aspects of premises and tort liability defense.
Julian earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he was active in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and the Intellectual Property Law Association, serving as Trademark Co-Chair. He also contributed as Executive Articles Editor, Sports Section, for the Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment Law Blog. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland, where he was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity.
