Chan Vitanza Honored to Support Jalen Brunson’s Second Round Foundation Again — On August 10, 2026, CV Partners Henry C. Chan and Roland A. Vitanza had the privilege of attending the Jalen Brunson Second Round Foundation Dinner at Westchester Country Club. We are proud to once again support Jalen and the Second Round Foundation, which is committed to empowering under-resourced youth through education, sports, and community investment.

It was a great evening for an even greater cause. We had the opportunity to reconnect with clients and old friends, meet new friends, and come together with an incredible community of people committed to making a difference.

It was also always a pleasure for Henry and Roland to talk leadership with Knicks Head Coach Mike Brown. Leadership is something we think about every day—not only how to set a vision and establish high standards, but how to build trust, develop people, communicate effectively, and bring a team together toward a common goal. One important lesson that applies equally to the basketball court, the courtroom, and the boardroom: good leaders do not simply tell their team what to do—they listen to their team. The best leaders remain open to different perspectives, recognize when circumstances change, and have the flexibility to adjust without losing sight of the ultimate objective.

The mission of the Foundation resonates with us personally. When we started Chan Vitanza, we were, in many ways, underdogs and overlooked. Building a firm, developing a team, earning the trust of clients, and creating opportunities did not happen overnight. It took—and continues to take—grit, perseverance, teamwork, discipline, flexibility, and hard work.

That is why Jalen’s story and the Foundation’s mission are so meaningful to us. Success is not simply about where you start; it is about how you respond to challenges, how you work with others, and whether you continue to believe in the process.

And, as Knicks fans know, there is something special about an underdog story. 🏀🗽

Grit. Grind. Teamwork. Leadership. Hard work. Adaptability. Believe in the process.

Those principles apply on the basketball court, in business, in the legal profession, and—most importantly—in creating opportunities for the next generation.

Thank you to Jalen Brunson and the Second Round Foundation for another memorable evening and for continuing to invest in our youth and our communities.

Trust the process. Listen to your team. Stay flexible. Keep working. Keep believing. Keep building.
